Integrated Health and Safety Ltd was formed by David Maddock in early 2002 to supply Health & Safety consultancy and training services to predominantly the construction and facilities management sectors.

David Maddock is professionally qualified (chartered) in construction and Health & Safety. David has a degree in Building and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building as well as being a chartered member of IOSH and a Registered CDM-Co-ordinator with APS. Ihsafety ltd has a staff of four all consultants are similarly qualified and experienced.

David has 30 years experience in construction at senior management level with Costain & Balfour Beatty and regional contracting companies . David moved into specialist contracting in the late 1980’s carrying out the structural repair of high rise buildings and installing fall protection equipment to buildings and structures. As a director and shareholder of the HCL Group David had specific involvement with fall protection and sat on British Standard Committees.

During this period David undertook a post graduate qualification in Safety, Health & Environmental Management, was accepted as a corporate member of IOSH and took over responsibility for safety as Director for the contracting activity of HCL including the production & implementation of policy and procedures nationally.
